We recently had a chance to check out Uncharted: Golden Abyss at a Sony event, but with the release of the Japanese Vita we finally had some time with the game to ourselves for an extended period of time. And so far, we’re really enjoying what we’ve played – while some things don’t measure up to the console versions, Sony Bend seems to have done a fine job at bringing the Uncharted series to handhelds with relatively few cuts.
But why read about it when you can see it for yourself? We’ve recorded a few minutes of gameplay and talked about what makes this new Uncharted experience so fun on handhelds (while talking about the somewhat gratuitous use of touchscreen functionality). Take a look, and get ready for even more Vita coverage this weekend and in the months leading up to the system’s February 22 launch.
