According to reports over the weekend (opens in new tab), two masked individuals ambushed a lorry near Paris with tear gas and really sharp knives on Saturday morning. They made off with an estimated haul of 6,000 copies of Modern Warfare 3 worth 400,000 Euros. That’s more than half a million US Dollars. Thankfully, the perpetrators chose not to shockingly massacre innocent civilians in a shamelessly transparent attempt to generate controversy.

In an unexpected twist, an anonymous man with a noteworthy moustache and dressed as a bush handed us the following CCTV image, which was taken late last night at a French market:
It seems to show a nefarious looking one-armed man selling stolen copies of Modern Warfare 3. Could this be one of the individuals behind the robbery? Police say the man is a known criminal, although they thought “he had been killed at the end of the first game but to be honest we’ve kind of lost track because the Modern Warfare plots are a bit of a bloody mess really.”
