Ever since the first seasons of Daredevil and Jessica Jones landed on Netflix, fans have been begging for more. Thankfully, the second season of Daredevil is only months away, but it looks like it won’t be the only show we’ll be mararthoning this year.
The official Twitter account for Jessica Jones has just tweeted a promo shot which hints at a released date for Marvel’s Luke Cage – the third TV show to come from the Netlix-Marvel universe. As you can see below, the image shows files on Jessica’s desk with one clearly marked: “Cage – November”. Did we just get a release date?

Marvel’s Luke Cage will see Mike Colter step out of the shadow of Jessica Jones and into his own show, where he’ll start his own journey to becoming a badass superhero. Given the popularity of the gritty and dark Netflix-Marvel universe so far, I can’t wait, and after Luke Cage, we’ve also got Iron Fist and The Defenders to look forward to.
For now, put it in your calendar and we’ll bring you confirmation of the exact date as soon as we can. Finding it hard to keep all these TV shows straight? Check out our ultimate character guide (opens in new tab)to the Netflix-Marvel universe…
