Starhawk: More construction equals more destruction in Build to Kill trailer

Sony is dead set on making sure you know that its upcoming Starhawk isn’t just another third-person shooter about army-men and aliens. This new clip offers a look at one of the game’s standout distinguishing features, Build & Battle, which lets you erect battlefield structures on the fly. “It’s not block building and it’s not slow,” promises Sony: “We’re not making Sim City.” And indeed, here’s a trailer which looks very much unlike anything Maxis has ever released.

Starhawk’s bound for release in May, with a free public beta underway right now on PSN. We tried out Build & Battle during our most recent preview, and it was just one of the things that impressed us about the spiritual Warhawk sequel.
