The first official images from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 have emerged online, giving us our first look at Julianne Moore’s character.
Moore will be playing Alma Coin, the President of District 13, who will ally herself with Katniss after rescuing her from the 75th Hunger Games.
She looks fairly steely-eyed here, which is just as well, since President Snow and the rest of the establishment are likely to be less than pleased with the way the events of the last film played out.
The new images are taken from the film’s brand new website , which also includes a sprinkling of behind-the-scenes material on the making of the production.
Directed by the returning Francis Lawrence and co-starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 will open in the UK on 21 November 2014.
