Speaking to SFX Magazine (opens in new tab), Harington revealed that – as he was trying to avoid word of his resurrection leaking out – he took special measures to make sure he wasn’t seen filming Battle of the Bastards, especially when pesky drones flew past, “There were drones on set… during the Battle of the Bastards… We’d have this [alert] ‘drone drone drone!’”

What did Jon Snow do to make sure he wasn’t spotted? “I’d have to hide under an umbrella and get taken to a tent. That felt quite exciting.” Ah, of course… Kit Harington clearly didn’t learn any spy tactics from his work on that Spooks movie, even if he did expect a swankier method of avoiding cameras, flying or otherwise, “I thought they would get me a private jet in [or] a helicopter to set.”
